I *do* just love your style, Kali - you, Eddie, Katie, Marlo and John K. produce some of the finest artwork I've seen.
These blogs reaffirms my love of the medium - even if I can't draw myself (I have enough trouble getting my head around some of the concepts of visual effects techniques!).
Aw--Eddie's always going to go gaga over drawings of himself! It's like feeding him bonbons. ; )
Seriously though--these are all fantastic--really truly tops! I love them all. You must either be drawing like a maniac or just plain had an epiphany lately.
The painting is a right treat too...I miss real paintings on blogs. You used to be good for them when no one else was doing them(well, hardly anyone else). Ah, the siren call of the tablet and the pen! But it's a relief to see someone holding up the brush--the real brush-for the rest of us.
Thank You Martyn! I didn't know I had a style hahaha.

Aw Jenny! That was beautifully written, but I hate to say it...
I didn't paint! It's just crumby ol' markers! It's the xmas card I gave to Katie :)
Happy Yule Log to you too Jenny! By the way I saw your Louise Brooks drawing linked on Nico's blog- hot stuff!
"(Did you get your mail yet?????)"
Yes, John and I got the card and it's sitting in the den! And...I MISS YOU TOO NICO.

Hahah - the third one down the page - the one of Eddie, it's perfect! It captures him wonderfully.
If I knew where to mail you guys a Christmas card, I would've.

These characters look great, Kali! Very original take on the Fred and Wilma.
Your drawings remind me of everything about my early childhood, which is great.
