I seem to remember seeing that last image of Eddie once before. It was over my shoulder while doing layout for him at Warners.
You go girl! Shoot all you can, and as much as you can. There is no better teacher.

I'll be the umpteenth person to say it: please let us see it, or part of it at least, when it's done!

This should be great.

Hey everybody! I'm not going to be able to edit this till after the winter break- so I'll begin in late Januaryish. I promise to post it once it's all done up fancy with music, sound effects, and color correction (well in this case contrast). If I have time next week I'll post a lil' tidbit!

It was a fun shoot and Kali, who not only directed but did my make-up, invented the "lipstache," a moustache drawn on the upper lip. It looked great!

Give us a hint on what your film is about. I'm very curious.

I like Eddies tie, he looks like Colonel Sanders :)

Whether I ever see the film or not, them rabbit slippers have to be the most stylish things I've ever seen.

Quack: Yes Sean works at the Nuart, you should say hi to him next time you see him!

Eddie! I'm so sorry that I can't tell a lip from a stache hahahahahaha....

YOUR BEST FRIEND'S WIFE

"Whether I ever see the film or not, them rabbit slippers have to be the most stylish things I've ever seen."

Thanks! I always wanted a pair since I saw John's Björk video back in '97, and I finally found a pair!! Mine aren't as cool though...

A hi-def student film? Wow! You're just like Spike Lee!

I can't wait to see Eddie in action. Are there scenes with John in a Chachi wig?

You're so cute in Nico's video(the film-of-thefilm as it were)! Eddie OTOH looks strangely hapless...like acting putty in your directorial hands. Har! I can lend you a riding crop next shoot if you like. ; )

"Are there scenes with John in a Chachi wig?"

No, but he was sweet enough to let us destroy his home, and make my crew the best sandwiches ever.

Josh "Just What the Doctor Ordered" Heisie said...

You liked the film noir? I'm sure everywhere has locations that good...just look for old hotels and alleys!

Although in LA all the alleys and seedy are probably plagued with shambling hoardes of hoboes and transvestite hookers. Here they're just full of rednecks!

Josh "Just What the Doctor Ordered" Heisie said...

Sandwiches would be nice, but couldn't you convince John to be in it at all? We all wanna see him act!

Who did your lighting? Did you learn stuff about live action in school?

I'm applying to a film school and I need to make a 5 minute film within two months in order to be considered! It's not going to happen. =(

I can't wait to see your moive! It's great to see that you're exploring film! =)

My wonderful crew, Mike T. And Sean. I learned lighting in school, but I was acting as a lazy director/actress so my crew did all the lights. Yay crew!

How come?

Nico said...

Yah Mitch how come! 2 months to make a 5 minute video is plenty of time. You can do it ol' boy

Mitch K said...

Haha Aren't you lucky! A fine crew at your directorial disposal.

I don't have such a brilliant crew, nor do I have equipment!! I'm finished!

Sean Worsham said...

I can't wait to see it. You got a "high-def" camera? Wow!

Jason said...

Ok, now I want to see more of John K's house. Is that weird?
