I'm totally adding you to the MySpaces!

Hey, these doodles of yours. Do you draw them free-hand, or conduct a rough light pencil construction first?

Can't wait to hear how you girls sound!

Thanks so much everyone!!!! YAY!

Hi Trevor,

the only two that were thought out were the top two(as in they were doodles and those are the cleaned ups ones), the rest are doodly doodles.

I added KK & KK to Myspace friend list, so you two shall love me forever! :)
Great music, nice vocal harmonies, it's really something for my taste. Can't wait to hear the rest of the album.
And the random doodles from you and John are terrific... whoops, I said that dreaded word "random". But you said it too, four times.

No fair! You girls can draw and carry a tune. Color me jealous.

Can't wait to get the album. Maybe cut a vinyl version, so it you can fill the cover and liner notes with tons of full size artwork.

Also an animated video would be tops!

Honestly, you sound terrific. I want the album! And you'd better play out too, soon! You will, won't you?

Kali Fontecchio said...

THanks Jenny!! I guess the whole performing thing depends on Katie- I'm pretty shy, but she's even more so! I'm sure booze would help us haha.

I broke a personal rule to never visit a MyFace ever again to hear these songs, and it was totally worth it! They're amazing!

By the way, I love how your doodles are almost like parodies or caricatures of traditional 1950s boy & girl art. Oh, and John's sci-fi turtle is retro gold!

all the songs sounds really great!

Hey! Y'all sound great together, Kali! I'm really impressed!

The Beatlesque harmonies in End Of The World are very cool.

Katie seems to have a natural talent for harmonizing. All her backup harmonies are so sweet and perfect.

Random doodles are always good for the soul. I created a random lobster lady hanging with my coworker one time while my buddies hat turned into a Koopa Troopa. Random is definitely good when searching for a creative outlet XD

"Koopa Troopa"

YOU TOTALLY JUST GAVE ME AN IDEAR!!!! YES AN IDEAR!!!!

Great tunes... kudos on the harmonies. Were the songs recorded in one take or multitracked?

Next let's here Kali's version of "Girl from the North Country" by Bob Dylan...serious it sounds great. By the way the doodles are great. Looks like you did those last few doodles on a napkin. I've done that too, but i usually draw something obscene and leave it behind for some unfortunatly waitress to find...just kidding.

Wow. For an allegedly straight He-Kirk-Dougless-man, John sure does make some effeminent drawings.

Are your boobs really that pointy?

Great singing guys, I can't wait for the full album :D

"Were the songs recorded in one take or multitracked?"

Hi, thanks! Well, there are two songs that have an extra guitar track (you know a crappy solo-whoo) but those ones aren't up I think... but ya- Katie and I sang together at the same time and I smacked the six-stringed squirrel.

"Next let's here Kali's version of "Girl from the North Country" by Bob Dylan"

OK!

"Wow. For an allegedly straight He-Kirk-Dougless-man, John sure does make some effeminent drawings."

By effeminate, I think you mean appealing.

"Are your boobs really that pointy?"

Why would I exaggerate? So the answer is, yes.

"Great singing guys, I can't wait for the full album :D"

Thanks!!!!! I can't wait either! Recording with Katie is barrels of fun!
