Flu turned into Bronchitis, almost turned into death, but I cheated the Grim Reaper again! Hah! So, here's crap from the past few weeks. By the way, I graduate in little over a month- so I might not be around so much- but I'll be back!

JOHN DOODLES!!!

John and I collaborated on this exclusive Eddie magazine collection featuring Eddie's cover on 16, and Crusty!
UPDATE! My pal Nico made a nice post about our fun times last week on my Spring Break, even though I probably gave him the plague! Here's a sneek peek:
Oh dear...drunk drawings....on my cable bill??? Yeeeeeeeeeee, hahahaha....

I just wanna die. Die. Die. Die. Die. Die.
hahaha
kali is cool
and so is Mickey's boob plane
I graduate around the same time.
Still not certain if I'll study Animation at a new school or independently.
Happy to see your bloggin again, sux that you got really sick. At least you will graduatue in about a month and I agree with Nico that Mickey's boob plane is really cool in fact they should make that into an actual Mickey cartoon for kids. Maybe it should be in 3-D, bah I got to go to bed
Dear Ma'am,
Is the figure in the 9th post from the top (wonderbambibook3.jpg) on the middle left row (if you include the tiny pictures) 16th century theologian Martin Luther, or am I mistaken?
To restate with clarity, does this:

Contain this:

?
If you could please answer in a comment on my blog then I would be several orders of magnitude more likely to find your response.
The aforementioned can be found here, if desired:

Hey, Kali, get well soon!!
BTW, what kind of markers are these flesh-grey-brown drawings? They look great! I think it's a fantastic limited palette.
And great note by John. I wish I had time to go to the gym. Do you have days with 28 hours or what!!!
Kali, I love all of these drawings!! Particularly Eddie on 16 Magazine...That kind of shit makes me laugh.!!! Also love those sick pictures
uf!.. what a terrible thing being that sick. You torture me by saying you'll graduate soon,.. I'll do that.. in ... FIVE more years and I'm almost 21 years old. Stupid education system.
My, you haven't been busy at all, not much! JESZUS!
I'm frustrated cause there's muchtoo much goodies to intelligently comment on. Plus, I was looking here last night--and I'd swear that there are new ones up since. The drawings are having baby drawings. Or more likely I'm hallucinating.
Anyway, these are great, miss. I esp.(hate picking ones out but just so you know I'm really looking)love the top ones--wow. And the sweater girl, and the sweet girlish girls, and and and.
Congrats on your incipient graduation! It seems as if you just started school! Time flieth. : )
" I was looking here last night--and I'd swear that there are new ones up since"
There are hehehehee- you're not crazy, don't worry.
Hi!. excellent drawings.
What do you think about my sketches?
Greetings form the ass of the world
(and congratulations for you graduation..)
dear kali, this your mama, so glad your well
love you
woah so much to see!! I love everything!!
Mega-doodle sick post! These are great. I like the happy little fellow living in your ear on the top bronchitis die die die drawing.
Are you feeling any better?
Holy crap, what a huge dump of toonage! So much awesome stuff, I don't know where to begin or what to say, so I'll just pick something at random. Love that brown sweater!!!
The Mog rules! you should do a post on rpgs! or draw rpg stuff!
Wow, is Nico really wall-eyed in real life?
And if only on occasions, then what constitues a fish facade? Is it a bi-product of Spumco-style doodlidge, or a bi-product of getting the plague from one's sick buddy?
Either way I'm jealous. I have to wear special glasses to achieve the same effect. And bifocals suck.
- trevor.
PS: I love everything, but I especially treasure the Bugs in a Bow. :)
Holy Mackeral! Nice work! You should get sick more often if that would stimulate you to draw to more like this!
great caricatures as always! they never cease to crack me up!
yay...i can see David, Steve, and Peter in those drawings. what's with the random photo of wade?
I'm glad to hear youre still alive Kali...PS...Mickey Flying a Tit? hahahaha...I had to do a double take a at first...seriously laughed my ass off at that one...the most environmentally friendly mode of transportation...ive never seen mickey look so happy.
also..congrats on the impending graduation...one year to go for me...BUT, ill be a keen little animation intern in LA this summer, pretty damn excited for that
Damn, Damn, Damn!!! :D Watching your art develop has been a real treat. It's great how your able to convey your feelings on paper. Hope things got better towards the end of Spring Break. Plus I hope you plan a good vacation for yourself after graduation, you deserve it :)
All those drawings rock my socks.
Nice
That fat bunny is hilarous!
Where can I buy that "Yay for geeks" T-shirt =D
Egads, Eddie is so right.
Some people can produce oodles of creative stuff when illness strikes. Still glad you're feeling better.
wow!!!
Graduating in a month, huh? What is your graduation project at Otis?
At my school our final year's assignment was that we had to make an animated student film. (That of course is where my Hansel und Gretel came from). Man, making your own films is the BEST. I would love to do that again.
Well, it certainly looks like your feeling better. That's good. It takes more than a mere flu to bring Kali down. I hope you graduate with honours.
you drew Anthony and not Jay ?
you cant just draw one. they are like peas in a pod.
"you drew Anthony and not Jay ?
you cant just draw one. they are like peas in a pod."
HEY. I drew Jay in the last post MISTER. How do you know them?
THANKS EVERYONE SO MUCH!!! YEEEEE!
"Graduating in a month, huh? What is your graduation project at Otis?'
It's an animated piece :)
"It takes more than a mere flu to bring Kali down. I hope you graduate with honours."
Aw, thanks! I hope I just graduate haha!
You're a jeenyuss.
Thanks for another caricature, I recognize probably everyone I know at Otis. You are great at distilling shapes and giving them personality. I like the long neck on Brian Yu.
i'm just here for the mickey boob plane. i love it!
G'day Kali,
Crikey your work is awesome!
Hey, I was wondering if I were to sculpt one of your drawings, which one would I do/attempt?
Good luck with graduation, I'm sure you don't need it.
Cheers,
Hryma
the guy who sculpted the pencil toppers.
"Hey, I was wondering if I were to sculpt one of your drawings, which one would I do/attempt?"

Yeah ok I'm on it, just saw it so give me just a wee little bit of time, I'm still sculpting more of John's critters...
I like how you drew nicos hair in the first one & that mickey is flying a boob!! Geepers!!

Lots of fun doodles, as usual! Nice!
Holy smoke, these are *really* beautiful!!!
I'm curious what kind of pen you used for the stuff like steven.jpg??
I love so many of these drawings I can't pick out a list of ones to mention, haha!
Please keep drawing and posting!! :) And good luck finishing up school!
