It remembers me that commercial Lynch did for Playstation.

(I'm not a David Lynch fan, anyway).

Youghta do this for Dumm Comics. How long have you been drawing Maude?

She has the perfect blend of cute, cool and a lil bit dorky. I really like this character of yours =D

I wonder if she has a Rocker enemy...? (My Mum and Dad told me all about the rivalry between the Mods and the Rockers - kinda funny, as my Mum was more of a mod and my Dad was a rocker!)

Very nice! I can't wait for the next Maude Macher!

Wow-Eddie spelled her name right! ; D

Maude's so cute-sort of a Sam ronson of the early 60s.
Love her scooter. I weep for her loss there. Lucky bunny.
More!

So then yer a mocker baby!! I want to hear more Lynsey! You seem to know more than I do...

Yay Eddie, I'm glad you like her!

I don't know who that is Jenny, but I'll take yer word for it- maybe I'll investigate...

Weeelll, as far as I know from my folks (who have now both admitted to me it was more of a shortlived fashion thing for them in their early teens, so this is mostly what they remember fom the news), the really hardcore Mods and Rockers hated each other 'cos they were opposites (Mods were girly, cleancut city wimps who rode Vespas with loads of wing mirrors and Rockers were dirty, course country bumpkins who rode motorcycles)

They told me they fought each other at the seaside during their summer holidays (which I found kinda weird - images of a kid making a sandcastle which is then stomped on by a Rocker with a length of chain and a Mod with a switchblade), but that's the only time they really met up. It was a big thing in the news in the UK at the time - they were pretty violent.

But I suppose with all trends there were people who just liked the clothes and music - speaking of which, the Rockers really just listened to rock'n'roll, the Mods listed to stuff like ska, jazz and R&B (I admit, I got that last bit from wikipedia - actually worth a look, it probably knows more than me!)

Wow, I hope that essay-like comment was of some interest/help to you!

Sam Ronson is Lindsay Lohan's horrid dyke friend, Kali, it's not worth investigating.

Maude Macher (sp?) is much cuter. I tried to draw her, she's fun to draw and very appealing. I drew her doing the Twist because I like obvious cliches but she of course didn't look as good as anything you could do. Does she have any other clothing? Would she wear any of those collarless suits?

Hahahahahahahaha- I totally want to re-enact that now Lynsey!!

I like Jorge!

Thanks Alina!

"horrid" what? For shame, little man!

I think Sam Ronson's stylin. I meant it as a compliment but Ms. Macher can stand on her own, of course. : ) More Maude!

Really really awesome stuff, your creativity really unleashes along with your technical skill here. are you using a brush pen or a felt tipped pen for the ones you do on colored paper?
