Some Of You Asked For It

Here it was when I announced it, some of you might recall. Well, here you go, enjoy Eddie, and nice lighting (and bad stolen soundtrack not mixed very well):

My Best Friend's Wife

I am extremely proud that I worked on this film. This is the best film ever made in the history of cinema. Kali is not forcing me to type this, and she is not presently pointing a .44 magnum to my head. I cannot wait to work on her next project. I really appreciate everyone reading this comment.

You look beautiful and Eddie is a terrific actor. I like the colors and the overall noir-ish look you tried to print on your short film. Anyway, I'm sure you're aware of the little failures going around. Sometimes the sound mix, ligthing that didn't stick nicely from one take to another, and it lacks some rhythm. But I like what you did and I'd love to watch another short film of your authorship. Some great choices in there (Eddie, Yourself, John's house and toys, and again: the noir-ish look and the desaturated colors). How do you feel about this work?

AT LAST!

I'm totally watching this when I get home ( my lying boss wants me to believe that if I watch streaming video on this computer -- which is not networked -- it somehow screws up his uploading abilities.... but he really just hates happiness!! ).

Thanks Kali, Nico and the amazing Eddie!

PS: Did you ever recall what kind of camera you filmed with, Kali?

That was great!

I especially love the lighting work! If you ever need someone to work on a project in future, I can do it all! From boom work and acting to shooting editing and lighting! ( although, I doubt I could top what you did with the lighting here )

And I'm free!...... as of February, that is.

Loved it! Thanks for putting this up finally!

Thanks you guys! I'm pretty much staying away from film from now, cause I'm not so good at it. Maybe helping other people- but that's about it.

Nicely done. It's takes a REAL woman to flirt with bunny slippers on. I'm also glad that Kali learned a good hard lesson, one that every woman should learn: do NOT mess with a man's personal stuff no matter how tempting. More relationships would be saved if that lesson was learned much more often. There's a long time veteran animator I know named Ken Davis. If you even THOUGHT about doing such a thing to his massive G.I. Joe collection, you'd be food for his dogs.

Like I said, great film. My only quibble is with the one scene where Eddie talks to the Liberace portrait. That portrait shouldn't have been hidden in the shadows like that. It should have been visible if Eddie was to interact with it like that. But that's a minor detail. All in all it was a solid effort.

The facial expressions were great! Kind of reminded me of Lost in Translation in many ways, but mainly 'cause it's so centered around expressions

Nah, ... I think is great you recognize you didn't do such a great film, but come on, ... nobody's is that good at this kind of stuff at their first attempts. As I said before, there're some good ideas and I enjoyed it.

Don't be so hard with yourself. Maybe you should switch to a home-made mode. Directing people is a pain in the ass.
