Newt Ear's Eve

Everyone have a Happy New Year! I'll be listening to U2 all day tomorrow in honor of the day, hahaha.

My very good friend Julianne had a birthday and just started her own blog. She's obsessed with Alice more than anyone I know! And yes, I know that is not a white rabbit. I felt like gray/brown. My scanner also cut off the pic.

A new banner I made for Jason Anders! I always love doing stuff for him!

For my close pal Sean, a Popeye-like version. Got the new Popeye book for christmas. It's a must have! it has the SEA HAG. So goooooooooooood.

Thank you everyone who came to my blog this year! It was great! Return in 2010 and hopefully I'll have more fun, and more things to show!!!

Here's a couple cards I made, so MERRY SOMETHING TO YOU!

This top one is for Nico!

The children's book I worked on is finished and will be out in February! It'll be on sale on the internet for you to purchase and enjoy! It has about 14 paintings in it total! Here's a sample:

I stole the title of this post from this:

HAVE A MERRY CHRISTMAS! If something funny happens tell me about it! I want to know!

Sanguine, Coral, Rose, and Browntown

Do you guys like the new look? The new banner? I want your thoughts!

I did all these paintings back in June or July, I had banner size in mind. Watercolors and fun! I love deep reds, they feel so intense somehow. Brown is also an intense color I would argue. Being neutral should not restrict any sort of visual passion. Does that sound weird?

Happy candy fun time cute! More Clampett inspired girly stuff. He's a constant inspiration! I looked at a lot of his stuff while I was at WB. I'll show you guys in the future!

Definitely later this week I'll post a couple of the cards I made for friends! I had fun with my markers! Thus I got a little dizzy...and wooozyyy....weeeeee.

Kimbo 1930 Nightmare Theatre Guest Spot!

Click on this preview for the exclusive comic only seen here on Old Men With Kazoos And Beating Drums. Then when you're done, head over to Dumm Comics for my other comic on Ricky's site!

Click here and listen to The Rope Song! This song is what the comic was based on. I thought it was a perfect fit with Ricky's character Kimbo! Poor Vespula!!!

PLUS! I added most of the marker drawings in the last post to my Etsy! They could make it to your christmas tree if you act quickly!

Watch the video Nico and I made for Tim Heidecker using his song for the new hit movie Old Dogs. It's a hit, a classic, can't you tell by this ad?

HAPPPY THANKSGIVING! What are you guys having? Turkey? Turducken? Tofuducken? Baco-Turk???

Taxi Of The Valley

Here's a picture I did for Ben! It's of his character Taxicab, my very own Maude, and it only seemed fitting to have Andy Warhol oversee the convergence. It's also in marker which I haven't used as much lately. Marker fumes await me!

The above girls, Garfunkel and Oates are these silly singers who play guitars and ukuleles. They have very nice voices and great contrasting heads.

An overstimulated Nico makes a brush pen appearance!

This is a mask that was made for Jason Ander's Fulle Circle Magazine! This is actually what gave me the idea to do my Mark mask. I love Painter.

Above is a drawing from my former co-worker pal Bob McKnight! He's all sorts of talented!

Here's our combination drawing/show pitch.

As Johnny Winter once said, "Hey! Hey! Hey!"

Rude Cacti And Happy Floaty Gals

Here are some Clampett inspired gals floating around. Had these drawings/inks for a while, so I colored them today.

There was cleaning out this week so I found some random crap. I forgot I even had this! This is from...I don't even remember! Not too long ago...
Update! I decided to sell this piece on Etsy! Click this sentence for the link!

The past two weeks have been full of insanity. I'll probably get more photos later, but I did caricatures at my buddies wedding (Molly and Carl Johnson). I love them!

Drawing at the airport and on planes is fun. Now that I don't live near LAX anymore, I had a lot more time to fill waiting for my plane.

If you live in Chicago, pick up a copy of The Chicago Reader! Yes, that's my Mark mask on the cover, pretty cool eh?

Thank you everyone who sent me birthday cards and wishes! It made me sooo happy!!!!! By the way, Happy Veteran's Day!
